When asked to establish a unique brand, we head straight down the research path, but it's more about understanding what can set you apart, rather than what would identify you as part of something.

Longstanding clients Walker Corporation are expanding their property development skills on other continents. In most cases it is as unique a proposition to them as it is to us, who are commissioned to help them position their initiatives and projects. Whether it be communication to governments, joint venture partners or ultimate purchasers, working with TOdesign is proving to be a formidable partnership.

We were briefed about a recent development of log homes on a 500 acre site surrounding Lac Mitchell in Quebec, Canada, and commissioned to create the brand. Our brand development so inspired all those involved, especially the Canadians, that TOdesign was appointed to source the imagery, write the copy and create the entire suite of marketing materials, and, because of the seasonality of purchasing a 'resort' home, achieved this in 6 weeks.

The UK was identified as the strongest market for purchaser potential. London, and surrounds, densely populated, grey skies, lots of traffic. The Canadian wilderness' open spaces, abundant forests, birds, wolves and deer - it was like a breath of fresh air!

In fact, it was breathing fresh air. Enjoying breathtaking views. Having breathless adventures. Enough, in fact, to simply take one's breath away. To where though? Well simply to where breathing has an address.

This unique proposition was the emotive catalyst of the website, the video, teaser postcards, brochure, ads in the London Sunday Times and online banner ads.

TOdesign Aligned - 05.08

The Alignment Partnership (TAP) is a boutique consulting firm whose purpose is to enable transformation of organisations, teams and individuals. The primary goal of the business is to create CEO referencable outcomes for every client.

In producing their brand we had to create a design that was unique and timeless, that would evoke confidence, stability, strength and flexibility. It had to embody the goals and growth of the company and stand up to its competitors. In considering the designs, Greek mythology, the story of Ariadne, Theseus and the Minotaur¹s labyrinth came in to play, along with Eastern Asian culture wherein the red thread is an invisible bond and positive force between people. Although we understood that from chaos comes change, the brand also had to be attentive to The Alignment Partnership's concepts of process, influence and values.

The TAP brand embodies the concept of alignment, wherein TAP is the piece in a corporate puzzle that aligns the organisation to a better future state. This project was undertaken by designer Wei Ning Khaw under the art direction of the TOdesign team.

STEREO GOLD - 04.08

TOdesign has just completed a comprehensive art direction and design package for local indie musician Justin Ossher. The work included logo design, album packaging/sleeve design, pole posters, online email marketing elements, avant card promos and website design and production. This project was art directed by Benjamin Hay.
